As a professional hunter you hunt with clients for six to seven months a year. But you seldom get the opportunity to hunt for yourself. Sure, sometimes you get to take down an animal which has been wounded by a client. But its just not the same.
By the end of the season you get that little niggling frustration, and you know that the only thing that can cure you, is to go out on your own, and hunt an animal ... for yourself.
This year I did not get that chance, and the other day, when I walked out the back door, I saw this chicken walking around. The urge to kill something almost overcame me. I wanted to run and kick that chicken's head off.
